About 100 Men Who Cook

Old National Bank’s signature fundraiser, 100 Men Who Cook has raised over $3 million for local charities since its inception. The original 100 Men Who Cook was presented by Old National Bank in Terre Haute in 2009, and coincidentally it was this year’s event in Terre Haute that put 100 Men Who Cook over the $3 million milestone. Since then, Old National has hosted 37 events throughout the bank’s footprint, raising over $3.1 million for 26 local charities. This unique community fundraising event features local celebrity chefs who prepare their favorite recipes for guests to sample and enjoy.

In Evansville alone, 100 Men Who Cook has raised $505,000 over the past five years, with $105,000 going to Tri-State Food Bank in 2015. Previous Evansville 100 Men Who Cook recipients were the YWCA of Evansville, Gilda’s Club of Evansville, YMCA of Southwestern Indiana, Albion Fellows Bacon Center, Tri-State Food Bank, and Ark Crisis Child Care Center.

This year’s event will be held on August 26 at Old National Events Plaza and will benefit Vanderburgh County CASA.  Vanderburgh County CASA  recruits and trains volunteers to advocate for children that have been abused and neglected and involved in the Juvenile Court system.  CASA is currently appointed to over 1000 children in our community with almost 500 waiting for an advocate to be their voice in court.  Go to vandcasa.com for more information.

To apply to be the 2018 beneficiary, please email 100menwhocook@oldnational.com to request an application. Applications are due June 30, 2018, and the beneficiary will be announced at the 100 Men Who Cook event on August 26. Non-profits must be a 501(c)3 organization to be eligible.
